What is a "Personal Web Page Link" and why should I create this when I register?
When you register, you have the option to create an easy-to-remember, short version of your personal fundraising web page address. This is very convenient for giving the link to others so they can donate to your page. Otherwise, your web page address will be a longer, more cumbersome address. We encourage all climbers to create a "Personal Web Page Link," but your web page will still work fine without one.
If I did not create a "Personal Web Page Link" for my personal fundraising page, can I change it later?

Why is the "Sponsor a climber" search not finding a participant?
You must type in the first name or last name of the participant exactly how it is spelled, but it is not case sensitive. If you still have a problem locating a participant who you are sure has registered, please call 646.442.1364 or email

All of my donors are not showing up on the scroll mechanism. Why?
As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the recognition scroll.
If someone made a donation to my climb, but I don't see the donation when I check MY HQ, what went wrong?
Some supporters make the mistake of donating online to inMotion directly, rather than to an individual's fundraising page. An inMotion staff member can check if this occurred and move the donation to your account—call 646.442.1364 or email
